Commuter trains and buses connect the airport with Munich city centre. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal.

Driving directions: From Munich Airport take the A9 (E45) towards Salzburg then turn off for A99 direction Salzburg and Innsbruck. Later turn off onto A8 and continue for the next 44 kilometres until reaching the turn off for A93 towards Innsbruck, Kufstein, Brenner. Stay on this motorway into Austria then after approximately 16 kilometres turn off at the junction 17, Wörgl Ost and follow the signposts to St. Johann. Upon reaching the b178 continue towards St Johann and on to Lofer. Just before the Lofer tunnel, take the right exit marked Zell am See. Continue to Saalfelden and onwards to Zell am See. Approximately 5 kilometres before Zell am See, the Glemm Valley is signposted. Head right at this exit and drive up the Glemm Valley passing though Maishofen and Viehhofen before arriving in Saalbach.
